Form F24 Simplified is a shorter version of the Italian unified payment form. Instead of separate sections for each public body, it uses one table where the section is written on each line, and it includes a field for the reason for payment.
Use it to pay State, regional and local taxes, including municipal property tax and waste tax, and to offset credits against what you owe. It suits taxpayers with a short list of payments who prefer a simpler layout.
Your tax code and personal details, and for each line the section, the tax code, the code of the entity receiving the payment, the reference period or year, and the amount owed or offset. The form has two identical copies, one for the payer and one for the bank, post office or agent.
You can pay on paper at a post office, bank or collection agent, or online through the Revenue Agency's free online service. Offsetting is allowed until the debt is cleared, and the final balance cannot be negative.
