How to convert a file

1. Open the converter you need, for example PDF to Word.
2. Drag your file into the upload area, or select Upload your file.
3. Wait a moment while Zendocs converts it.
4. Download the result, or share it by email or link.

Converting a scanned PDF

If your PDF is a scan or a photo of a document, the pages are stored as images, so a converter cannot pick up the words directly. Run the file through Scan to Text first to recognize the text, then convert or fix the result with Edit PDF.

Checking the result

• Documents with complex layouts (dense tables, multiple columns, decorative fonts) can shift slightly during conversion, so open the converted file and review it before sharing.
• If you converted to PDF and spot a typo or a misplaced element, fix it in seconds with Edit PDF instead of redoing the whole conversion.
• The same upload-and-download flow applies to every converter; only the output format changes.
