How to edit text and images in a PDF
Last updated: by Zendocs Support Team
You do not need the original Word file to fix a PDF. The Zendocs editor lets you change text, swap images, highlight passages, and leave comments directly in the document, all in your browser, with no software to download.
How to edit a PDF
Open Edit PDF, upload your file (up to 100 MB), use the toolbar to fix typos or swap images, then download or share the edited file.
What you can do in the editor
- Add Text: place new text anywhere on the page.
- Highlight important text in multiple colors, and attach a note to add context.
- Add comments: sticky notes, suggested edits, and teammate tags to keep feedback clear and in one place.
- Sign PDF: complete form fields and add a signature.
Edit text and images
Click into existing text to fix typos, use Add Text to place new text anywhere on the page, or swap images in a few clicks. Your work syncs automatically across desktop, tablet, and phone.
When editing is not enough
For rewrite-heavy jobs, convert the file with PDF to Word make your changes, then bring it back with Word to PDF.
